Second Life, to me, is a means to add visuals to my blog posts (among other things of course). Glancing through my portfolio\/blog posts will show you that I really don’t do “store\/freebie specific” stuff. However, I do want to show my thanks to the content creators who provide me with the items for said visuals – especially since a lot of my inventory is freebies, hunt items, group gifts, etc. So this post is my way of offering a bit of love when I can’t afford monetary love hehe \ud83d\ude42
\n<\/p>\n

Now, for my color specific photo challenge, this week’s colors matched very nicely to a group gift offered by \/ * qbee<\/a> (which comes in two other color options as well). They are primarily a shape\/skin store but also offer a variety of other things; they also just redid the store\/sim. After deciding to use the outfit for this week’s challenge, the rest of it just fell into line and I decided to show a little love for a store that I have always liked for both its products and its decor. This love, though, translates to every designer of any item I have worn in any of my pictures.<\/p>\n

I use these photo challenges to improve my skills with art and photoshop and I love that I have a medium which allows me to play and have fun while also creating great visuals to express myself with in any way I can imagine – none of that would be possible without the hard work, dedication, and love of the creators who populate Second Life. This particular post might ‘mostly’ be a tribute to \/ * qbee, but I hope that all Second Life creators understand that, while I might not have the time to showcase all of you in this manner, the message from me to you is still the same. Keep up the wonderful work and I can’t wait to see what you come up with next!<\/p>\n

To \/ * qbee: your products have always been so lovely and the shop so pretty and sunny that just visiting makes me feel cute and lovely and happy… and yes, I know I’m being cheesy \ud83d\ude00 But these aren’t feelings I generally focus on or cater to, as it were, so being able to make me want to do something with them (like the picture below) says a lot. Sometimes even us darker types appreciate the sunshine \ud83d\ude09 Also, Deer Thistle… Sailor Moon and Commander Keen? <3 <3 <3 lol<\/p>\n
