But, that just means we have more time to enjoy the lovely summer weather, right? Nope, it’s been mist raining all day >.> So, what to do? How about listening to some light and summery love songs? Enjoy!

Let’s start with the newest release, a song I love dearly, Vixx Ken and EXID Hani‘s One by One (lyrics)(Korean). It’s no secret that I love Vixx, and this is by one of Vixx’s main vocals as well as his cute and adorably awkward friend Hani ^^ The tune is just so sweet and lovely, I seriously think they are trying to kill us with cuteness…

Next up is Travie McCoy‘s Golden ft. Sia (lyrics). This is the perfect kind of rap song for summer, smooth and with a melodic chorus. The video fits the season well too, as does the whole ‘golden’ idea.

Coming in third is Carly Rae Jepsen‘s I Really Like You (lyrics). Now, yes, she’s not usually my cup of tea, but this song/music video is silly and fun – perfect for just playing around while having a campfire with friends (and your crush) on the beach.

Lastly, Grease‘s Summer Nights (lyrics). If you’ve seen the movie, you know why this is here. And, if you haven’t seen the movie, go watch it!!

What summer songs get you feeling all lovey-dovey?
