Because people are obsessed with the way they look and the stuff they have. People spend so much time getting their hair and makeup done and then picking the right outfit… they wanna know if the weather is going to spoil things by raining or something. And people in certain areas, like where tornadoes hit, worry that they might loss all their stuff if a big storm happens. And hey, some people just like watching the weather change. I personally love watching storms 🙂
