So, the ladies over at StyleMinions have sucked me in with their wonderful new “DisneyBound Challenge.” *shakes fist* like I don’t have enough to do already!! But, like a silly person, I decided to do it so here you go! 😛

My week 1 “Peter Pan” entry for the DisneyBound Challenge. The point of this challenge is to take the Disney character they give you each week and recreate their “look” so to speak; it doesn’t have to be exact, just your take on it.

To me, Peter Pan has always been Mary Martin. I like the Disney movies just as much as the next person but, when I think about Peter, I never imagined him the way Disney portrayed him. “He” was always a non-gendered rough and tumble child-like spirit who was simply the embodiment of whatever it was to be a kid in my mind. I thought about doing a child-sized shape for this image but then I remembered that you never really have to grow up, no matter how big you get 😉
