There is nothing more ‘indescribable’ than the afterlife; whether that be heaven, hell, limbo, purgatory, the summerlands, reincarnation, rebirth, nothingness, plain old death, or whatever else people want to call it. Everything is what we, ourselves, make of it – we don’t even know yet if we all see the color blue the same way so how can anyone say “this is for sure what happens when you die”? What if we’re all aliens dreaming of a better life in some artificial reality and when we “die” we actually wake up and must face “the real world”? There is no way of knowing if what I just said is true or not so why do we even bother to argue about it? Let those around you be comforted by whatever comforts them and comfort yourself in your own way.
