“I’m not very good” … “I’ll never be able to do that”
“Everybody is a genius. But, if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it’ll spend its whole life believing that it is stupid.” – Albert Einstein
Lots of people, when I was just starting out with my writing and other creative endeavors, were very discouraging. Sadly, I see it all the time these days, not just from random people, but from other creative minds as well. As fellow creative souls, we should be encouraging everyone who wants to try their hand, even if what they produce could use some work. Yet, no one is going to get any better (or want to) when all they hear is people telling them that they’re ‘no good.’ Everyone has creativity in them and, frankly, I really want to see what comes of it so all you naysayers can just STFU 😛 Let your creativity and imagination thrive, don’t give in to defeatism!
“Fairy tales and more fairy tales.” – Albert Einstein*

My week 15 “Boysenberry Field” entry for the Twisted Color Challenge. The purple is in the eyes but they don’t show through well enough for my liking in the above image so I did a close up too. I also included the purple in the sparkles, which are a photoshop addition, because I wanted a little more of the purple in the image 🙂
