I’m not much for dancing (unless you count the just acting like a fool stuff hehe), but I can’t deny the fact that music makes you want to move it move it ^(^_^<) (>^_^)^ This week’s SMILE is all about getting people up and shaking it! Enjoy!
First up is JJCC‘s Fire (lyrics)(Korean) – a song that I really, really wanted to include on last week’s SMILE because it came out before publication, but it didn’t fit the theme ㅜ.ㅜ So, I waited patiently and picked a theme for this week that would fit. If you haven’t guessed by now, I love this song (and JJCC!) ^_^ It’s all about letting go and just being wild – perfect for dancing!
Next up is Becky G‘s Can’t Stop Dancing (lyrics). With a title like that, how could I not include it? This song is all about the control that music can have over you and the attractions that can come while dancing with another person.
For more club-like music, here’s Stockholm Syndrome‘s Kalabalik (lyrics). This song definitely fits in well with the crazy rave-esque style of most clubs these days and has the lyrics to match! Even though this song is in English, don’t ever think that Swedes don’t know how to party!
Katia Aveiro‘s Latina de Cuerpo y Alma (lyrics – ignore where it says ‘America’, it should say ‘Latina’ -.-;)(Portuguese) turns up the Latin dance vibe – the title does mean ‘Latina for Body and Soul’ after all. It’s a great dance song about romance and heritage.
Nearby, Frenchman Kendji Girac‘s Andalouse (lyrics)(French) tells a tale of love for a dancing Andalusian (a nationality of Spain) beauty. Dancing can really draw a person in, with music and song completing the trifecta. So, get out there and dance with whomever you love!
That’s it for this week’s SMILE! If you have any suggestions for songs or themes, please leave a comment!
