Why is simplicity over rated?
We work hard to discover
the next best thing which
will make our lives that much easier,
that much simpler.

Yet, to live a simple life
is looked down upon by
those high-tech, high class
socialites living the good life.
At least, so they call it.

A slow life, a few friends and
a simplistic approach, used
to be a standard we all cared
for and dreamed of having as a child
gazing upon our parents adult world.

Grown up and we become monsters
eating our weight in fast-paced
monotony and slanted technological
breakthroughs. Gone went the dreams
when we found our wiring.
