Your physical body decays and the energy within your cells moves on to other things. It’s only that energy that goes on, nothing else. Of course that energy can affect things in strange ways (like people who get transplants and start behaving like the person they got the organ from) but it’s not actual consciousness or anything like that. Energy can be imprinted with things just the same as anything else.
