Everyone has been in a situation where they either want someone they can’t have or shouldn’t get involved with. Yet, pinning after what you don’t have will make you miss what is right in front of your face. Too often we focus on what we don’t have; people like to say “well, my life is so boring” as if they aren’t a primary contributor to that fact. If you can’t look at your partner and be satisfied in every way than either start a conversation or end it. It’s not “complicated” and it’s not “things just didn’t work out the way I wanted them too.” It’s only complicated because you’re making it complicated and, until it’s over, things can work out in any way you so choose so long as you strive to achieve your goals rather than sitting back and going “oh, what a horrible life I have.” Don’t avoid reality with daydreams about some fantasy relationship you wish you had, make your real relationship into a fantasy you live each and every day.
